Understanding your patterns CAN CHANGE THE WAY YOU MOVE THROUGH LIFE

You may be someone who is used to handling things well. You're capable, thoughtful, and often the person others rely on. From the outside, your life may even look like it's going exactly as planned.

But internally, you may find yourself overthinking relationships, questioning your decisions, struggling to slow down, putting pressure on yourself to get things right, or wondering why certain experiences from your past still have such a strong hold on you.

Sometimes the patterns that helped us become successful—staying in control, anticipating other people's needs, pushing through difficult emotions, or expecting a lot from ourselves—can eventually leave us feeling anxious, disconnected, or exhausted.

Therapy offers a place to understand what's underneath those patterns.

Together, we can explore where they came from, process experiences that still feel unresolved, and help you develop a greater sense of security, self-trust, and freedom in the way you move through your relationships and your life.

I'm Sarah Ryan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified EMDR Therapist licensed in Washington and California. I specialize in attachment trauma and relational difficulties, and I particularly enjoy working with women navigating anxiety, self-worth, relationship concerns, family-of-origin experiences, and life transitions.

I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) & Perinatal Mental Health. With prior experience working within a maternal mental health clinic, I enjoy supporting women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional transition into motherhood.

My approach integrates a variety of modalities including EMDR, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, parts work, somatic experiencing, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Together, we'll develop an approach that fits your goals, your experiences, and the person you are becoming.

You don't have to figure it all out alone.

Therapy can help you understand the patterns underneath your anxiety, relationships, and emotional experiences so that you can move toward greater self-trust, connection, and security.
